2~3 일만에 맨하탄의 유명한 곳만 쏙쏙 구경하고 떠나는 많은 여행객들과 달리 나는 11박 12일동안 뉴욕의 심장 맨하탄에서만 있었다. 그래서 남들보다 조금더 구석구석 보았던것 같다. 뉴욕여행시 조금이라도 도움이 될만한 내용을 간단히 작성해본다. 걱정입니다. 오며가며 항상 뉴스를 접하는데, 이건 사람들이 같이 보면 좋겠다는 생각이 들어서 캡쳐했습니다. Japan restricts milk, vegetables 2가지 Big Topic이 무슨 이야기를 해줄지 예상시켜줍니다. 좀 긴 기사였는데, 보이는 첫번째와 두번째 단락 내용이 어느정도 이 글이 의도하는바를 잘 나타내줄것 같아 캡쳐해보았습니다. 일본에서 지진으로 시작된 엄청난 일이, 지금은 정말 전세계가 고민해야되는 문제가 된것같습니다. iPod 에서 작성된 글입니다.

온전히 토플공부를 하기 때문에 내가 이런단어를 습득할수 있는가 생각된다. 거기다 블로그에 글도 남기니 이제 까먹을일은 없겠지... 이야기의 시작은 이렇다. TOEFL Listening'History' 분야. TOPIC 은 'Gettysburg Address'. 뉴스 너무 감동적으로 봤다. 지진,쓰나미,방사능,생존. 이렇게 4개의 큰 카테고리로 명확하게, 깔금하게 그리고 상당히 스마트하게 보도된 뉴스를 접하니 "감동"이란 단어가 절로 떠오른다. 시간되시면 꼭 한번보세요. 20분정도 합니다. 팟케스트로 무료로 볼수 있습니다. 그리고 아쉽게도 East Sea 라는 표기는 없었다. 영국, 미국 전부다 찾아서 뉴스를 봤는데 100% Sea of Japan 이라는 표기를 쓴다.

Keynote 하는 스티브잡스를 다시보게되서 너무나도 좋습니다. 아이패드2 의 발표도 축하하며. 아직도 하드웨어에 포커스만 맞추고 있는 기업 및 개인사용자들에게 한마디 하고싶습니다. 진짜 중요한것은 soft+ware 입니다. 벌써 대한민국은 하드웨어로 심하게 한번당했습니다. 그런데 가장 중요한 soft 한 물건(ware)에는 아직도 관심이 부족한것 같습니다. 아직도 모르시겠습니까? 아직도 hard 한 생각으로 hard 한 ware 만 만들고 hard 한 것만 강조. 광고하는 모습은 심히 답답합니다.
